What tool am I?
My main purpose is to help the router operator to control the project piece as it is being milled. I am positioned in the router baseplate and used as a safety percaution when milling irregular shapes using pilot bearing router bits.
Answer to the above question posted on June 6th:
First one to get it right was Howard Foote and the best answer comes from Donald McKenzie. I think going forward I would like the answers to be at least a couple of sentences long explaining the answer and it’s uses…

Our Woodworking Trivia Game…Please comment below on your thoughts.
Last week I tried something new I call a Woodworking Trivia Game, which is used to describe something about the world of routing. I would like to create one of these new trivia questions once a week and reward the winner of each trivia question with 10 reward points and the second to fifth person to get it correct will receive 5 points each.
After accumulating 50 points I would like to offer an individually numbered, personalized and autographed copy of two of our best selling books. 1) of the Router by Bob Rosendahl and 2) Router Projects and Jigs by Bob and Rick Rosendahl. (As seen below)

Below here is another example of what the questions would look like. Please use the comment section to answer the second question and give us your thoughts of having this as a regular feature. The person who gets the answer first gets 10 points and second to fifth gets 5 points…Here is the next question.
What model of Router am I?
I am a 15 amp router that has my handles equally positioned to ensure that my weight is evenly distributed. I have just one speed and can move up and down approx. with two inch travel. My switch is safely located on the left hand side that ensures that I can switched on and off without removing the operator’s hands off my handles. My collet can hold 3 sizes of router bit shafts 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” and my maker’s name starts with an H. Last hint is I am no longer manufactured…
To get the correct answer you need to provide the manufacture name and then the model name and number…
What wood joint am I?

I am a wood joint used for many projects. I use one router bit to make both halves of the joinery and once the position of the router bit has been set it remains unchanged. The router bit has two different diameters, one at the base of the cutting flute and one at the end of the cutting flute. The diameter at the end of the cutting flute of the router bit is the larger diameter that is 1/2″.
