Our first Jigs and Fixture E-Class is a go…

Well Dad and I have had our second brainstorming session and are just putting the finishing touches on the purposed course outline. It is kinda nice to see Dad excited about making information for this new medium and of course we are talking about his favorite topic making Jigs and Fixtures for the router.

As he says if you need to make more than one piece the same for your project make a jig or fixture for the router and rout it. You make your pattern out of 1/4″ Baltic Birch…fine tune and polish the pattern then use the router, guides and pattern to make your parts. Example: You have those three legs 1 1/2″ thick for that table, design the shape and style in the 1/4″ plywood set up the jig to hold the pieces and cut with the router.

This group has given us an opportunity to present our information and ideas on the process of building Jigs and Fixtures in this new Internet medium. For this, Dad and I would like to thank the group that have signed up to this first J&F E-class and we look forward to working with you.

For the rest, we see this as our pilot program that we hope to expand into a series of on-demand Jig and Fixture E-Class products. The Router Workshop TV series was designed to show how the router fits in the building of projects and our Jigs and Fixture E-class series will be talking about the tips and tricks to building those router jigs and fixtures.

As follow up we have the Router Workshop membership on sale, to click here to join. Use this coupon code A6A8AC52CC as save 30% off the regular membership price.

    Hi: Rick
All the info on jigs has been very useful to me
many times, All the best to you and your Dad,
I’ve been watching the Router Workshop for
a long time, and get useful info you each time
i see anything from you people.

Once again thanks for your help, without the
TV shows i would never have been able to
use a router for most of the little jobs that i do.

All the best to all CJ

Not sure what your asking Roger but the course has started and is full. If you are enrolled you will be receiving update emails if your not you are going to have to wait until we finish building these courses and then offer the On Demand J&F E-Classes.

    Thanks for your interest,

    Rick
