    Hi Bob and Rick,

I haven’t been in touch with you for quite some time. Was happy to see your router tips that showed up on my E-Mail and since we have a lot of new members in our Tuolumne River Woodworkers Assoc. I thought at the next meeting (first Monday of the month) I will make an announcement about your woodworking classes and information in general . I will give them your E-Mail address and thus they can contact you if they wish and you can take it from there .

You may remember I took one of your week long classes at your location in July 1994. I still use my Routers once in awhile and teach a few club members on occasion one on one .
At 83 years of age I have slowed down somewhat . I recently finished a Tool Chest for my shop the size of a standard Cedar Chest with 3 drawers along the top and 2 larger drawers below out of 1/2 inch 9 ply Maple plywood . After 50 plus years of woodworking I FINALLY made a Tool Box !!! Ha ??

We have about 70 members in our woodworking club that I started in 1991

I still have some of your rulers that “stretch :-)

Hope all is well with you and your families and have a Happy Holiday season.

    Best Wishes ,

Thanks for the comment it has been a while since the Hands On classes. It would be great to hear from your woodworker’s club members.

    Thanks again,

    Regards,

    Bob and Rick

Great glue up tip for box joints.
Question for fellow Router Workshop fans. When using the Router Workshop system for making box joints, must the width of the board be an even size, i.e. 2in. 4in.etc, or can any width be used and still come out with an even box joint.
    Thanks.

Even box joint as I understand it from your question means the width of the box joint must be in multiples of the width of the fingers. If the fingers are 3/8″ then you need to use a width that 3/8″ can be divided into.

    Hope that answered the question,

    Bob and Rick

Our local PBS stations no longer carry your program! I’ve talked to them and they have no plans to restart the series. Is there any other source, ie web cast?

Yes there is another source in the right side bar of this website. This is my personal blog and membership website. The membership is about watching the shows.

    thanks Rick
