		<description>Your e-mail on picture frame making came right after I made some.  A neighbour wanted 3 picture frames made to match one that she gave as an example.  I used two bits: a straight and a V-groove.  It took longer to experiment to cut the proper profiles than it did to make the three frames.  I used poplar and didn&#039;t notice the direction of the grain.  Even upon close inspection, the grain direction wasn&#039;t obvious and I ended up making 5 frames as two of them were damaged by going against the grain.  At the time, I didn&#039;t think to run a nylon along the wood to find the grain direction.  That&#039;s a mistake that I won&#039;t make again.</description>
